Started in 2016 as a way to emphasize the “Talk” in the Talk Read Play Campaign, the Flash Rhyme Mob serves as a community builder in addition to emphasizing that talking is an important pillar of a child’s development. Groups of providers and children gather annually to recite rhymes, poems, and sing songs at different locations across the city at the same time.
